Simply put, Kate "Hawkeye" Bishop is stubborn. No matter what she’s gone through or will go through, she always manages to stand up straight, hold her shoulders back and say “I’m going to do this.” This is the girl who shoved herself into the Young Avengers after being repeatedly told no. Kate’s bossy and blunt nature has her do whatever she sets her mind to and doesn’t let anybody stand in her way. Behind the tough exterior though, there is a hurt girl who has suffered through a traumatic event that would change anybody. But Kate being Kate didn't let that stop her from caring about the less fortunate, giving back to those who don't have enough, and most of all, preventing what happened to her from happening to anybody else.
